Many a lone gunman in US kills at will like James Holmes

The government, we are told, “has been more successful stopping al-Qaeda from pulling off another Sept. 11-type attack than it has in preventing deadly shooting sprees such as the one in the movie theater in Aurora, Colorado. Law enforcement officials say it’s nearly impossible to stop someone like James Holmses, the intelligent 24-year old who, officials believe, killed 12 people and injured dozens of others” because “Holmes does not appear to be part of any terrorist or criminal network; officials say his purchases were legitimate and raised no red flags.” Aurora police chief Dan Oates told CBS’s Face the Nation ... “he wasn’t particularly aided by anyone else.”
“Particularly aided”? What does that mean? Those of us old enough to remember the genesis of the term “lone gunman” are made uneasy by assertions like this. Before the president’s blood had dried on Jackie Kennedy’s dress, the nation was told by authority figures like Walter Kronkite that the assassination of the president was the work of a “lone deranged gunman.” Then the “lone deranged gunman” got shot by a lone deranged night club owner who then conveniently died of cancer and for the rest of our lives we lived with the uneasy feeling that we had been lied to, especially when it came to murders by “lone gunmen.”
The rest of the article devoted a number of paragraphs to telling United States citizens that they should inform on each other in a way that made East Germany’s Stasi operation look like the Mafia’s omerta by comparison. According to the official interpretation of the shooting. the only hope of “stopping someone like Holmes” is for “the average person to say something if he sees something suspicious, said Christopher Voss, a former FBI agent and hostage negotiator. It’s on the government to reassure people that they’re not being paranoid or overreacting when they see something that doesn’t seem right. . . . That’s really the only defense against lone gunman-for someone to have said something when they wrote off their observations and instincts,” Voss said.
The AP news analysis did not report that one of the first people to do just that claimed that the gunman had an accomplice inside the movie theater, who took a call on a cell phone and then opened the emergency exit door to let the killer in. In a report which came out two days after the murder, TV station KCNC of Aurora, Colorado broadcast an interview with a man who was in the movie theater at the time of the killing, who claimed
"As I was sitting down to get my seat, I noticed that a person came up to the front row, the front right, sat down, and as credits were going, it looked like he got a phone call. He went out toward the emergency exit doorway, which I thought was unusual, to take a phone call. And it seemed like he probably pried it open, or probably did not let it latch all the way. As soon as the movie started, somebody came in, all black, gas mask, armor, and threw a gas can into the audience, and it went off, and then there were gunshots that took place."
Needless to say, in any conflict between fact and official interpretation, the latter will always trump the former, and so we can expect the report of the man inside the movie theater to disappear down the same memory hole which now holds the Cal Cameron video of the dancing Israelis at the time of the 9/11 attacks, and the reports of other shooters on the grassy knoll at the time of the John F. Kennedy assassination in Dallas in 1963 or at the time of the Robert F. Kennedy shootings in Los Angeles five years later.
As in the case of Anders Breivik, we are not talking about mutually exclusive alternatives here. We needn’t say that either the Holmes killings were the work of an agent provocateur or they happened all by themselves for no known reason with no cause Effects without causes are essentially irrational, hence the word “deranged” in the original use of the term, “President Kennedy was killed by a lone, deranged gunman.”
The AP report went on to claim that the threat posed by “lone gunmen” has become such a concern that the FBI in 2009 created a more than 25-member task force to identify common behavioral traits and characteristics. In 2012 there have been 22 mass shootings, according to the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence.
Also missing from the AP report was any idea that the FBI is one of the prime suspects in cases like this. The same thing has been happening over here for almost as long as we have had our own internal secret police, which is to say, as long as we have had the FBI sending out agents provocateurs and creating the mayhem we thought we were paying them to prevent. Fred Hampton was murdered and the Black Panthers destroyed in Chicago in late 1969 as the result of the work of an agent provocateur who was sent to the Panther headquarters with express instructions to buy guns and then tell the local police that the Panthers were stockpiling weapons. The case of the “Hutaree uprising” in southwestern Michigan, which attorney general Eric Holder called an attempt to overthrow the government of the United States, is another case in point, one which we covered in a recent issue of Culture Wars. The judge threw out the entire case a few months ago, claiming that the only people who had access to explosives or knew how to use them were FBI agents.
Even more recently we had the unsavory saga of “gunwalking” at the hands of the Bureau of Alchohol, Tobacco and Firearms, which led to the “Fast and Furious” scandal and the first time in US history that an attorney general has been held in contempt of Congress. One hundred and fifty Mexicans and one American border patrol officer have been killed so far by guns that the BATF let “walk” into Mexico in the alleged hope of catching drug king pins. With law enforcement like this, who needs criminals?

This report, it should be noted, did not come from a truther website or alternatives media source. It did not come from Alex Jones, who claimed that the alleged perp James Holmes had been given psychotropic drugs, and that the mass killings constituted a false flag operation whose purpose was passage of a draconian gun control bill. Nor did it come from naturalnews.com, which went on to wonder where a penurious grad assistant got $20,000 to pay for all of the weapons and body armor used in the attack. It came from a local TV affiliate, which are if anything more zealous in self-censorship than national network outlets.

Breivik set himself up for committing the atrocity in Norway by reading the Islamophobic propaganda that had been confected and paid for by eight Zionist, neoconservative think tanks/foundations and writers like Daniel Pipes in America and Melanie Philips in England. When the pressure which he had created in his own mind became intolerable, Breivik decided to seek out people who felt the same way he did. At this point he made contact with front groups which MI-5 created to deal with the skinhead problem in England. What happened after that may or may not come out in Breivik’s trial. All that we know is that at some point Breivik became weaponized and willing to kill people for his beliefs.

What the report didn’t tell us is that American culture creates its own “natural born killers” from the pool of alienated white men in their twenties as a result of a toxic mixture of feminism, which belittles men in everything from TV commercials to affirmative action programs, video games which teach them how to kill without remorse, pornography, which makes it impossible to relate to members of the opposite sex, and Jewish comic book superheroes, like X-men, who convey approval for revenge on society by the people it has marginalized.
