Charlie Sheen's 9/11 Video: The reason for his humiliation today?

Could this video and his "Letter to the President" be the explanation for his public humiliation today? The CIA loves to ridicule those who have the integrity and courage to speak truth to power, as Charlie does in this case. If they make him out to be a flake, they convey the subtle message that what he has to say about 9/11 is exaggerated or false.

I will grant that Charlie seems to be able to get himself into situations of his own making and this may well be another of those.  But he is perhaps the one member of the Hollywood/television community--apart from Ed Asner--who has been speaking out and trying to do something serious about 9/11.
