I've always been puzzled why they waited almost an hour after the plane crashes to start the demolition sequences.  Probably because during this period the thermate was cutting the core steel columns into smaller chunks , then when the mini nukes were ignited, they could be easily thrown outward in the debris cloud.  It probably took some time for the thermate to act inside the towers before the big mini nuke blasts.
