There will be more, especially about (D) and (E). But these are some of the basics. that
every member of this forum should be familiar with. There is a lot of my stuff, not because
it is mine but because it deals with the complex and controversial aspects of 9/11, which
are the only ones worth discussion and debate. I do not think I am right about all of this,
by the way. I can learn from you by showing me where I'm wrong.

A word of appreciate to Michael Morrissey, who introduced us to ning.com. This is not
an anti-Morrissey forum but a 9/11 Truth forum. Michael's excess of zeal in anti-anti-
Semitism and unwillingness to study mathematical treatments of these issues created
an obstacle to the pursuit of 9/11 research. He was, in my view, committing several
elementary fallacies, including the ad hominem and the genetic fallacies.

Having spent 35 year teaching logic, critical thinking, and scientific reasoning, I did my
best to oppose them, but Michael is a man of strong opinions and would not budge. I
therefore founded this forum as an alternative, where members are welcome to belong
to both. I should note that, in my view, the charge of anti-Semitism has become a club
to abuse those seeking the truth. We must undeerstand how it works.

As a fallible human being, I have no doubt that I will commit my own mistakes managing
and moderating this forum. I therefore encourage any of you who have comments,
suggestions, or criticism to contact me, either via the forum's own mechanisms for
communication or by sending me an email directly to my email address, which is
[e-mail]. I believe the 911aletheia.ning.com forum has already shown
what we can do!

Woolsey suggests that suing people for defamation who falsely claim that 9/11 activists are terrorists could be a good way to stand up to these bullies. I am inclined to agree. Hoover's effort should be supported. It is better than being intimidated. I also like the Alex Jones interview of Hoover at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fs_YGKOhGAY. Jones and Hoover both forthrightly take on the anti-Semite smear.

William P. Homans here, another DBS longtime regular poster. I am not a 9/11/01 xcholar, so I doubt i will post much here. But I want to at least invite any and all former DBS posters to correspond with me regarding what we shall do now in response to this unconscionable, out-of-the-blue destruction of books and books worth of posts-- I certainly had a book's worth of posts that did not include cut-and-pastes.

Something needs to be done, maybe bidding for or buying the domain name "debatebothsides.com" and reactivating it. I've got a bit of cash to spend toward such an end, even if I am personally incapable of administrating the site. I will also offer mysef as a moderator if no one else wants to perform said function, though I would prefer at least dewey and madresfield to continue in their moderator functions. I'm not so sure about Lib, at present. It was only a week before this disatrous disappearing act that Lib invited a bunch of 9/11 debunkers from another website, and they succeeded in ruffling the feathers of most everyone on the DBS Forum, including myself, with their smug and self-congratulatory attitude.

I spent years at www.debatebothsides.com, and also published about 50 articles at opednews.com before being banned. Interestingly enough, a search for one of my articles, turned up a link on scholars for truth, that you had recommended to your readers. Thank you:

I was challenging the moderator of debatebothsides.com to debate me one on one repeatedly over the years, and met with only his pretending not to see the challenge, dismissing it, but finally after about the seventh time I issued it, he simply said he would not debate me because I was "deranged". He then proceeded to invite dozens and dozens of supporters of the official version of 9-11, from the JREF forum, to shout me down, and heap too many posts at me to keep up with. When I challenged one of the presumed top posters from JREF there directly, the next thing that happened was that the entire domain, debatebothsides.com, appears to now have been deactivated.

Perhaps it's a glitch and down for maintenance, or perhaps I was such a pain in the butt to the pro-official version moderator and owner of the domains, they just decided to pull the plug. I guess time will tell.

Anyway, I'm not a physicist, nor a degreed engineer; just a citizen, and amateur collector of available evidence for the events of 9-11.
