To me, it would seem simpler to explain the top down dustification of the towers with about 10 -15 mininukes that were detonated from the top down in 10 seconds.  The steel members, etc. that weren't pulverized seemed like they were ejected symmetrically outward and upward pretty forcefully, as if the "ground zero" of the explosions occurred on every 8-10 floors where a mini nuke was emplaced.  Dimitri's hypothesis can not be ruled out if the shock wave for some reason actually pulverized the lower floors first , but we could see the top floors exposed first and then successively downward.
