This Poster Graphic explains why the 3 Towers all Free-Fell into their own footprints. Balanced and symetrically horizontal Vector Explosive Forces tell the whole story. There is no net or unbalanced force in any of the 4 directions indicated.
The front and back forces are equal yielding no net horizontal movement. The left and right forces are equal, yielding no net horizontal movement.
Eual and opposite forces always yield no movement in the directions of the applied force nor in the direction of the reaction force.
The only unbalanced force remaining in gravity, straight down, as long as the horizontal net forces are equal and balanced.

If the horizontal forces become unbalanced, like in the South Tower, the top explosively severed block will tip over and fall into the street below, unless the person with the remote control can set the nukes off and pulverize it before it topples over and decends to the street.

Everyone watching this miscued event should realize that the bottom 78 floors could not possibly collapse, when there was no crush down force there to collapse it.
