but not visible due to smoke and great distance from the perimeter...
You know this how exactly?
Also, I think you have an large energy deficit as you've proved several times.
How many Hiroshima bombs did you calculate? I can't find it on the site anymore.
Blessings, Shallel
Of course, heat, that should have been understood.
1 White Aluminum Oxide smoke
2 grey micro iron sphere by the billions
3 massive heat.

I do not agree. The core columns would not be visible, only the smoke, Just like WTC-7. The Thermate is some 20 meters inside the tower 1,2, and inside 7.
This is not something to quibble about, just common sense to me.
The smoke of the thermate would not allow one to see the core...
Thermate INCENDIARY Chemistry Reaction Products:
1. Aluminum Oxide
2. molten liquid iron
3. HEAT - lots of it - around 4500º F - highly incandescent in the visible range.
If this is "eating core steel columns" then it would be clearly visible. For reference, a 2700K common incandescent bulb is giving off light due to a filament temperature of 4400º F.
This original slide was deleted and replaced with this one since there was an error referencing the Perimeter Columns, when the Core Columns should have been referenced...
All is corrected now, Shallel.
I think when they decided to dustify the towers, they realized there were two main materials that needed to be disintegrated of course, the core steel and the concrete. Thermate would be effective at eating away at the steel, mini nukes would supply the fracture energy for the concrete. Brilliant plan and it worked well. Of course, not all the steel was eaten because some beams were ejected outward from the explosive centers, but it cut them into small beams.
I really don't think mini nukes would have been enough without the thermate to first prep and corrode the steel beams. It would have probably left a spine of core columns and that would have cost Larry Silverstein much more money later to rebuild the complex, he wanted a total dustification.
