Flight Data Expert Confirmation: No Evidence Linking FDR Data to American 77

Here's the latest from Pilots for 9/11 Truth, which continues to make major contributions to the study of 9/11.  A more accurate subtitle might be, "No Evidence Linking FDR DATA to a Plane (Allegedly Flight 77) that Hit the Pentagon"

FDR Data Exceeds Capabilities Of A 757, Does Not Support Impact With Pentagon

(PilotsFor911Truth.org) - Flight Data Recorder Expert Dennis Cimino has confirmed that the data being provided through the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA) by the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is missing crucial information, which according to Dennis, should be present and link the data to a specific aircraft and fleet. The NTSB provided three sets of data through the FOIA for what they claim is from American 77, N644AA. A csv file, an animation reconstruction and a raw data file. Rob Balsamo of Pilots For 9/11 Truth along with numerous other aviation experts, including trained Aircraft Accident Investigators have analyzed these files and determined they do not support an impact with the Pentagon. The data also exceeds the design limitations and capabilities of a standard 757 by a wide margin. This is based on data, precedent and numerous verified experts, including those who have actual flight time in the aircraft reportedly used for the 9/11 attacks (See - "Flight Of American 77", "9/11: Attack On The Pentagon" and "9/11: World Trade Center Attack" at Pilotsfor911Truth.org for full detailed analysis and interviews).

One file in particular, the compressed binary raw file alleged to be a direct data dump from the Flight Data Recorder, was recently analyzed by an alleged computer expert. He has claimed to decode 4 more seconds worth of data, above and beyond the NTSB decode, although the "additional" data has not been verified by anyone. The claim was made that the reason the NTSB did not decode this "additional" data is because the software used by the NTSB, along with the software used by the manufacturer of the FDR (L3 Communications), has an alleged "bug". If correct, this has grave consequences for Flight Safety as Flight Data is used in the promotion of safe flight through changes in regulation and procedure. The NTSB and L3 have been contacted, along with an Aviation Safety Report being filed with NASA. There hasn't been any reply confirming such a "bug".

A paper was recently published by the mentioned computer "expert" along with an alleged Chemist as the authors. They claim the extra 4 seconds support an impact with the Pentagon. They base this claim on a Radio Altimeter parameter in which the NTSB has listed as "Not Working or Unconfirmed" in the NTSB FDR Report(1). When cross-checked with the "Working and Confirmed" Primary Altimeter True Altitude data, the aircraft is still too high to hit the Pentagon(2). This can only mean that the Radio Altimeter was measuring from an object above ground level.

Radio Altimeters do not guarantee measurement from the ground. The device measures whatever object you are flying over within a certain range (a building, trees... etc). The tracking capability of the Radio altimeter is 330 feet per second, or a little under 200 knots(3). According to the data, the aircraft was traveling at a speed of 460-480 knots. Well outside the limits of the Radio Altimeter tracking capability, not to mention well outside the capabilities of a standard 757.

It is interesting that the authors, editors and Journal in which the above mentioned paper is published is highly critical and skeptical of the National Institute Of Standards And Technology (NIST) data and reports with respect to the collapse of the World Trade Center, yet is now attempting to use unverified data from another government agency to support the government story regarding a Pentagon impact. Motives are even more puzzling especially when the NTSB data in fact does not support an impact while exceeding the performance limitations and capabilities of a standard 757 as set by the manufacturer based on wind tunnel and flight testing, by a wide margin. This is also corroborated by precedent. It is also clear the paper was not reviewed by any aviation expert prior to publish, as it is littered with speculation and gross errors. FDR Expert Dennis Cimino further goes on to state:


[I]t just all comes down to two data fields being zeroed out. no tickee, no laundry. without those, there can... never be any linkage of the FDR to an 'N' number in the F.A.A. registry. not because the 'N' number is in the AC ID field, but the AC ID FIELD number is directly traceable to an N-Number in the F.A.A. registry, and the FLEET ID shows which carrier it went to.


[T]hose missing, that [data] could come from anywhere...


[N]obody flies boxes with that data zero'ed out or missing. without this data in the CPM [Crash Protected Memory], in the preamble, there can be no linkage to an aircraft N-Number.

I saw that on the first look.... the test person who extracted that data should have seen the NO ACFT ID and NO FLEET ID and said; "oh, this is such bullshit" and then asked his supervisor why they were asking him to decode BULLSHIT.

So, if the data is not from N644AA, does not support an impact at the Pentagon, and in fact exceeds the capabilities and performance of a standard 757, what caused the damage at the Pentagon? That is exactly what Pilots For 9/11 Truth are trying figure out and the reason there needs to be a new and truly independent investigation. Some wish to ignore this data, some without expertise attempt to analyze it while attempting to say, "nothing to see here folks, move along..". Please write your Congressional Representatives and Senators. Call into talk shows, tell them there is a growing list of aviation professionals who question the government version of events on 9/11. Tell them the data being provided through the FOIA does not support the government story.

Jim, The main question is not erasing my membership or not.

 

The main and the most important question that you must answer is: Should you continue to support disinformation or not? In other words: Should you continue to be part of too many disinfo groups and collaborate with people who are protecting the perpetrators of the strikes of 9/11, and finally be also complicit of these perpetrators?

 

You may be aware or not, but that's the true question asked for too many people who are leading many web groups.

 

About "Pilots for 9/11 truth" at the beginning, I told them that the damages inside and outside of the Pentagon are consistent with a plane coming at 52° to the facade and having about 95ft wingspan. As the released FDR stops seconds before the impact and makes the plane approach almost perpendicular (90° instead of 52°) to the facade, that FDR could not be the real one which was in the B757 of AA77. The question is so simple. Their only answer was erasing my membership.

 

In the following months, they produced videos of eyewitnesses claiming the plane was coming perpendicular to the facade, from north of cisco station. That was also disinfo. Simple lying people.

 

That was 4 years ago! During 4 years you, yes Jim, you, you supported and propagated the claims of such disinfo people. Weren't you able to understand that they were disinfo? Or are you leaking professionalism? Or are you believing them too much easily? Even after 4 years, it could be natural that you were unable to evaluate their claims and you supported them. They were pilots, and you just believed them. In that case, you are not responsible of their disinfo. But today, if you still support them, as many others, you are becoming responsible.

 

You have to choose Jim: Will you become more professional and more sicnere and more honest and so before supporting any theory you'll check all evidence that explain it. Or will you simply erase my membership and definitely prove your alliance with the disinfo and the protection of the perpetrators of the strikes of 9/11/2001.

Mahmet, Are you inviting me to give you the boot?  Pilots for 9/11 Truth is one of the most responsible of the

9/11 organizations.  Your posts about them and (implicitly) about me are completely ridiculous and off-base.

FOIA or not, pilots or not, this false information is useless. It was just time waste during 4 years since pilots for 911 was created. And on basis of this false FDR they also produced false eyewitnesses testimonies. All were only to create more confusion. But that does not work with me. Since the beginning, after some days of investigation, it was celear that FDR and pilots were disinfo. That conclusion just confirmed my initial conclusion.

 

I know that FDR does not match with the official report. I know that official reports are false in their major key theories and I finger pointed most of these false theories in my web site www.peace911.org .

 

Before claiming that "I proved nothing", you need to be able to debunk my work in my web site. That's the only thing I need to prove. I wont waste my time with proving, reproving, and reproving all disinfo theories propagated by too many false truthers, including some so called scholars.

Pilots obtained the data through FOIA, so you wouldn't even know about this data if it were not for their work.

They maintain that the data DOES NOT MATCH the official report. Pilots have my full support.

You have never proven anything to me let alone that Pilots is disinfo. I support researching relevant data, and seeing what it tells us. You pick and choose the data points that you want to see, Mehmet, and that is the antithesis of science.

Pilots was given the data by the NTSB as having come from Flight 77.  You need to give more thought to your posts.  What is unforgivable is not my support for Pilots but your misguided attacks on those who seek truth.

I am sure from watching the testimonies of April Gallop plus Jamie McIntyrie, plus photos I've seen of Pentagon now, that no big Boeing could have possibly hit that building.  The lawn is clear and April says she literal crawled out the hole and saw no debris.  If any Boeing of any kind , or I would contend any type of plane hit that building, even if rigged with explosives, the debris would have been very obvious to all.  So logical I conclude that either a torpedo hit the Pentagon or more likely , like all the other events of that day, it was merely explosives.

Since the first time that FDR data has been released, I always told that this is a fake FDR, not related to AA77 not also related to the Pentagon strike. Just on basis of the available evidence. Why pilots for 911 harrassed us with that fake FDR since several years? Were they unable to make an easy check on that FDR? Or they just published during several years false information to create disinformation?

 

That proves pilots for 911 truth is disinfo. And you, Jim, you supported them during several years. For a scholar leader, this is unforgivable. And you continue your support for all kind of fake theories!
